The AMAZING Call Me Malcolm, playing at the New Cross Inn!
I picked up their latest album “I Was Broken When You Got Here” on the recommendation of a friend last year, and fell pretty hard for it. The album addresses the breakdown and recovery from mental health issues, and tackles the unfair social stigma of such problems in our so-called modern tolerant society.
Take an expertly crafted punk ska album, and give it a double shot and put it on stage, and you’ll have what is pretty much a perfect storm. I loved taking these photos, but I also loved putting the camera away and joining in. My highlights – a super chance to practice low light photography, and hearing my favourite album track “All My Nameless Friends” live!
